You Are The Sky

Fingers trailing stars
across the back of your hand:
you are the sky.

Spring Haiku

straight from the tree’s mouth
spelled out in bark and branches
tales of springtides past

I’m hungry for words
like candy, like licorice,
trying to lick clouds

Encoding the world
in hexadecimal clouds
and binary rain.

Associations,
A word-game, taking turns;
Sometimes a wrong one.

Don’t forget the stars
among the bright neon lights
keep your sense of wonder.

Constantly I walk against
Invisible walls

Apple blossoms fall
like white stars in our dark nights
hands rippling water

Half-dried ink dragon
awakens, stuck to paper

cries/burns himself away.
