These nights it’s possible watch this year’s Perseid Meteor Shower. If the clouds are gone by then I’ll try to be on the roof for a while and hopefully I’ll see some shooting stars. A few nights ago I saw a single meteor already and it made me happy – it had been a long time since the last time I had seen one.
Will you go outside tonight to watch this sky show?
For Darling, and for all the other people who are important in my life.
Starfish says “thank you”!
(For those who are wondering, my shirt says “the early bird might get the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese” – my mum gave it to me a while back and it’s quickly become one of my favourites, even though at first I thought it was a little cheesy, pun fully intended. Thanks, mum.)
Just a simple drawing I did this evening, inspired by spring blossoms and the mild weather we have at the moment. Sadly our scanner doesn’t agree with me on the saturation of the sky, I’ll try and see if taking a picture with a camera by daylight tomorrow will work better. For a moment I wanted to draw the whole constellation of Orion, but then I decided I was too tired and lazy ^^” Maybe next time. I really need to get back to creating more art, even if it is just random doodling.
